Wine products pictured on the website are for illustrative purposes only. TWT does not promise, warrant or guarantee that a pictured line is the product that will be provided or supplied.

When placing an order with TWT either over this website, or by email, fax or telephone, you confirm that all the details you have provided in making the offer to purchase are true and correct. It is a condition of any purchase that you verify that you are 18 years of age or over. If you do not verify that you are 18 years or over then the order cannot proceed. It is a legal requirement that the purchaser and the recipient of alcohol be 18 years of age or older.
TWT does not ship, export or send wine overseas.
All prices quoted, unless otherwise stated , are inclusive of GST and Wine Equalisation Tax (WET) if applicable, and in Australian dollars (AUD).
Product prices do not include delivery.
Payment options are accepted via the website shopping cart. Alternative arrangements can be made by contacting TWT.
Delivery is an additional cost calculated by reference to the delivery cost calculator provided on the website and added to your account.
Refunds will only be made to the original credit or debit card or account from which the purchase was made.
Cancellations can only be made within 2 hours of you having placed the order. Requests to cancel outside this period may not be able to processed, however we will use our best endeavours to meet your request.
An administration fee of $25 will be charged for cancelled orders.
TWT cannot alter or amend an order that is being prepared, has already been prepared and /or already despatched or in transit.
A request to alter or change an order must be made within 24 hours of having lodged the order that is to be altered or changed.
You agree to pay any additional price fee or charge incurred, depending on the change or alteration you request.
TWT delivers products Australia wide using Australia Post. The delivery costs are determined by the size and weight of the order and the delivery location. Shipping costs are calculated in the shopping cart and will added to the order before checkout. Orders are dispatched within 2 business days of being placed. Delivery times may vary but are estimated at between 3 – 7 business days depending on your location.
TWT does not ship or export outside of Australia.
If for any reason we are unable to dispatch your order we will notify you within 2 business days and arrange for an agreeable alternative , refund or credit.
In the event of a refund being made it will only be paid to the original credit or debit card or account from which the purchase was made.
Please choose carefully. TWT does not accept returns or provide refunds without prior arrangements being made with TWT. In the event we agree to accept a return you agree to pay any administration, posting and handling fees associated with the return.
The risk of any products delivered to you by TWT or its agents passes to you at the time of delivery to the delivery address nominated by you. This includes a delivery made to a nominated area of an apartment or unit block.
Title in the goods delivered to the nominated address by TWT or its agents passes to you on the date and time of the delivery to that address. This includes a delivery made to a nominated area of an apartment or unit block.
The use of this website and the services provided are governed by the laws of the State of Victoria and that of Australia.
By using this site you agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria and any legal action instigated by you shall be within the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
You agree to supply us with a valid contact email address and two phone numbers (eg landline and mobile).
We do not accept any liability arising out of a failure to contact you or your nominee where the contact details were not supplied, invalid or incorrect.
It is your responsibility to ensure that the recipient’s delivery address is valid and correct. This also includes the correct spelling of the recipient’s names. We cannot accept responsibility for any incorrect information when such information is provided by you.
A failure to provide the correct contact or delivery details could result in goods being incorrectly delivered, undelivered goods and incur additional re-direction fees.
TWT does not accept any liability arising directly or indirectly, for incorrectly delivered or undelivered goods, where you have not made any attempt within a reasonable time to correct the address delivery details and TWT acted reasonably in delivering the goods. It is your responsibility to ensure that any personalised message you write and that is to be included with the goods is written to your satisfaction. TWT cannot accept responsibility for incorrect grammar, spelling or formatting when it is provided by you.
A gift certificate is redeemable only through TWT website (thewinetailor.com.au) for wine merchandise only. It is not redeemable for cash or refund, replacement or exchange.
The gift certificate is valid for 12 months from the date of issue.
The gift certificate is valid for delivery in Australia only.
TWT is not liable or responsible for certificates/vouchers that are lost or stolen.
Partial deductions in the value of the gift certificate/voucher will be allowed and TWT record the remaining value. There will be no re-issues of the deducted certificate/voucher. Unused amounts will expire with the expiration of the original certificate.
TWT will not redeem a gift certificate if our records indicate the gift certificate has already been redeemed.
TWT takes all complaints about the products or services provided seriously. In the event of a complaint we will endeavour to resolve this quickly.
If a product is faulty or arrives in a damaged condition, you agree to notify us within 2 business days of the fault or damage and agree to provide evidence, such as photographs, the damaged stock or goods or other evidence as requested by us, to us for the purposes of assessing the complaint and calculating any refund, credit or exchange due to you.
